How to Contact Your Student

By telephone
Students must provide their own telephone if they wish to use a landline phone number. If they do have a phone connected in their room, they will need an answering machine to receive messages.

Students living in Duvall and Boppell may be reached at: 509.321. _____ (student's on-campus room extension).
Students living in Baldwin-Jenkins, The Village, McMillan, Ballard, Warren, Arend and Stewart may be reached at: 509.777. _____ (student's on-campus room extension).

Students living in East Hall are welcome to use the courtesy phones located in the lounges.

By regular mail
Each student who lives on campus has his or her own mailbox. Each mail item can be sent to just one person (i.e. no roommate pairs).
Student's legal name, SB (student box) Number____,
300 W. Hawthorne Road, Spokane, WA 99251

We accept packages from USPS, UPS, FEDEX, DHL and other carriers. Using your student’s full legal name and box number helps in the delivery process. For any perishable items, include your student’s cell phone number. When shipping through UPS, FEDEX and DHL, address the package as you usually would, adding your student’s box number to the second address line or apartment line.

By e-mail
Use first initial and last name, both lower case, no period between, year your student is expected to graduate, followed by @my.whitworth.edu.
Example: Donna Elliott, a potential graduate of 2014, would be delliott14@my.whitworth.edu.

With common last names, use entire first name: johnsmith14.
