Mailbox Numbers
Each student currently enrolled at Whitworth and living on campus is assigned a mailbox in the Hixson Union Building (HUB). Due to limited space, off-campus students do not automatically receive a mailbox. The mailbox holds incoming mail, The Whitworthian, and inter-campus communications. Letters, magazines and small packages will be placed in your mailbox and available to you at your convenience. Packages and parcels that don't fit in your mailbox will be stored in the mailroom and will be available at the window during regular business hours. You must have the notification slip from your mailbox to pick up your package. You can access your campus mailbox at your convenience throughout the day and evening, seven days a week. Mailboxes are not meant to be storage lockers. If, through your inattention, your mailbox becomes overfull, it can be closed; all mail will then be forwarded to your home address.
The mailbox number assigned to you is available through the Online Campus Directory located at www.whitworth.edu/students and can be accessed through the links in the upper-right corner of the page. Mailbox numbers become available in September. The Online Campus Directory displays campus contact information for all Whitworth students, faculty and staff and is updated regularly. You must have a username and password to access this information. If you do not see your information on the Campus Directory after the first week of school in September, please contact us at 509.777.3279. If you do not want your information to be available to the campus, please contact the registrar's office at 509.777.3201. |
