During summer 2008, Roger spent four weeks in Michika, Nigeria, where he worked as a translation consultant with the Kamwe Bible Translation Committee, taught a week-long course to Bible translators and reviewers, and spent time with the chief translators, checking their translation of Ruth, Esther, and parts of Exodus. Roger hopes to return to Michika to work as a translation consultant until the entire Kamwe Bible has been published.
