Presenter at numerous local, regional, state and national workshops and conferences in the areas of community/family/school partnerships, classroom-based assessment, character education, strategic planning, school-based case management, Washington state school reform issues, and effective writing instruction.

Coordinator of 1209 reform activities district-wide, including training of all staff in essential learnings and benchmark, and the establishment of grade-level expectations in reading, writing, communication and mathematics. Grant writer and manager for numerous successful grants including Goals 2000, Readiness to Learn, and Eisenhower and Technology.
