Personal situations vary; completion time is dependent on which degree program you are interested in and whether you attend full or part time. Most degrees can be completed in approximately two years, attending full time. The master’s degree in school counseling can be completed in approximately three years, attending full time. Yes. To qualify for federal aid, graduate students must apply to a master’s degree program. Contact the financial aid office at 509.777.3215 to see if you qualify for other financial aid or scholarships, or for more information. Graduate students should also check with their employers about tuition-assistance or reimbursement programs for employees.

Yes. Depending on what type of credit you've earned, Whitworth does recognize some military credit as college-level coursework. Contact the Whitworth Graduate Admissions Office (509.777.3222) for more information.

You can request that up to nine credits of previously completed master’s credits be transferred from another regionally accredited institution and applied to your Whitworth degree. Whitworth’s graduate admissions staff will review course transcripts and determine if the credit(s) can be counted toward your Whitworth degree.
