Herbert B. Jones Foundation Grant Program Job Shadowing Component for Students

Who Can Participate?
Whitworth University undergraduate Sophomore, Junior and Senior students.

Benefits to You

  • Insights into how businesses operate
  • Opportunities to evaluate the Business Shadowing Site and its "fit" for your skill sets and abilities
  • Application of textbook learning to the "real world"
  • Earn one upper division credit
  • Opportunity to enter the mentoring and internship components

Your Responsibilities

  • Obtain and complete an application form from the Econ/Business Department or the MIM office
  • Submit your resume with your application
  • Once accepted, register for a one-credit course
  • Attend two one hour discussion seminars on campus
  • Prepare a journal of your experiences
  • Complete a reflection paper at the conclusion of the experience
  • Attend semester end discussion with Shadow Business Leaders
