Larkin, "Robotics projects as an integration exercise in a sophomore-junior level analog electronics course," in the American Journal of Physics (2006); co-author of "Reverse intersystem crossing from a triplet state of rose bengal populated by sequential 532- + 1064-nm laser excitation" in Chemical Physics (1999); co-author of "Triplet state spectroscopy of photosensitizing and flourescent dyes" in Biological Physics Group Technical Report (1997).

Presentations include: "High altitude ballooning in the upper division physics laboratory," at the Pacific Northwest Association for College Physics Annual Meeting, Auburn, WA. (2009); presented the James Gerhart Lecture,"Exploring the Inner Light: Tissue Optics and Other Examples of the Integration of Biophysics into the Curriculum," at the Pacific Northwest Association for College Physics annual meeting (2007); poster presentation, "Energy dependence of rose bengal fluorescence in various solvents,"at the 15th annual Regional Conference on Undergraduate Research of the Murdock College Science Research Program (2006), with Whitworth students Alisha Anderson and Brent Knight; presented "Reverse intersystem crossing from a triplet state of rose bengal populated by sequential 532- + 1064-nm laser excitation" at the American Physical Society Centennial Meeting, 1999.
