ROTC Commissioning Service, Seeley G. Mudd Chapel, Whitworth. This ceremony celebrates participants' transition from ROTC status to service as commissioned officers in the U.S. Army. All are welcome. Reception honoring Whitworth Continuing Studies bachelor's-degree and teach certification candidates, Hixson Union Building (HUB), Multipurpose Room. An opportunity for students who obtained their degrees and teacher certifications through the Whitworth in the Evening Continuing Studies Program to mingle with fellow students, faculty and administration. No charge for students, $5 for each guest. RSVP required at 509.777.3222. |

English Department Senior Reading, Weyerhaeuser Hall, William P. Robinson Teaching Theatre. Celebrate the works that graduating English majors have created in their capstone class. Students on the writing track will read their poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction, while students on the literature track will briefly share their portfolios through an audiovisual presentation. |

Senior Communion and Commissioning Service, Cowles Memorial Auditorium. All seniors, parents and guests are invited. This worship service includes faculty and student reflections on shared experiences of Christian faith, as well as the opportunity to pray for the members of the Class of 2010. Communion will be served. |

Senior Honors Recital, Seeley G. Mudd Chapel, Whitworth. Musical performances by members of the Class of 2010. |

Senior Reflections, Cowles Memorial Auditorium. Everyone is invited to enjoy a showcase of senior class talent. Many of the university's awards for outstanding seniors will be presented here, along with the annual senior slideshow, a Whitworth tradition. This event is free of charge.
