Biography:

Hometown: San Jose, CA
High School: Notre Dame High School – San Jose
University: Gonzaga University

Favorite Quote: “A little mercy makes the world less cold and more just.” – Pope Francis

Favorite College Course(s): Feminist Theology & Multicultural Literature; these were a couple of my favorite classes in college because they uplifted lost or forgotten narratives in history reaffirming that social justice is about including all people and voices.

Favorite Spokane Activity: Hiking & camping; it’s a great city with the great outdoors all around it.

Favorite Spokane Restaurant: Fire Artisan Pizza – if you like/love pizza and want to be downtown, this is the place to be! Their single baked cookie with ice cream on top will make your day.

Favorite thing about Whitworth: The Whitworth community are kind, welcoming, and true to the university mission.

Advice for Whitworth Applicants: As you learn about Whitworth whether it is reading the website or visiting campus, imagine yourself as a student in the community. Can you see yourself here? Would you want to be friends with the students and staff/faculty you meet? If yes, Whitworth is a good fit!

Free-for-All: I love animals; currently I have two cats, Queen Jennifur Lawrence (total snob who will accept affection) and Little Kai (the friendliest and cuddliest kitten who purrs all the time).
