Whitworth University Financial Aid Office
Whitworth is ranked No. 5 among 124 regional universities in the West in U.S. News & World Report's 2017 ranking of best values. Whitworth also is No. 45 on Kiplinger's ranking of the top 100 private university values in the U.S.; this is the seventh year in a row that Whitworth has made this selective national list. These rankings are based on both academic quality and the net cost of attendance. Personal attention from excellent faculty, small class sizes, abundant opportunities for student involvement, and outstanding career and graduate-school placements underscore the fact that a Whitworth education is a great investment in your future.
Whitworth's financial aid staff welcomes your questions and can provide explanations and counsel at any time.
The 2017/18 FAFSA opens Oct. 1. Students and parents will use their 2015 tax information to complete the 2017/18 FAFSA. (This has changed during the past year:The FAFSA now asks for tax information from two tax years earlier instead of one. Since most applicants will have filed their 2015 taxes, applicants are encouraged to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool offered in the online FAFSA. )
New incoming students are encouraged to apply by Dec. 1 in order to receive an early financial aid award, in mid-January 2017. Visit www.fafsa.gov to complete a 2017/18 FAFSA.
