Whitworth Westside Golf Classic 2013 - Newcastle, WA
THE EVENT: The Annual Whitworth Westside Golf Classic at the Golf Club at Newcastle on Friday, June 21 with a shotgun start at 2 p.m.
COSTS:
Single Golfer - $250 ($40/tax-deductible)
Foursome - $1000 ($160/tax-deductible)
Sponsorship Opportunites are available.
REGISTRATION: Please register online at www.whitworth.edu/westsidegolfform or click here to print the entry form.
LUNCH & DINNER: Lunch and dinner are provided as part of your entry fee. A boxed lunch will be on the golf carts prior to the shotgun start. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m.
THE FORMAT: Scramble and two-man best-ball formats. You get to choose the tourney in which your team plays. The field will be split into flights of no more than four groups per flight. Mulligans will be available for $10. There will be a putting contest along with a number of speciality holes. A maxmimum unestablished handicap of 25 will be accepted for scoring.
PRIZES: Include Under Armour apparel, pro-shop certificates for the winners of each flight, and raffle items.
DRESS-CODE: All participants are reminded that The Golf Club at Newcastle has a dress code that will be enforced during the Whitworth Golf Classic. No blue jeans are allowed, shorts must be knee-length, and collared shirts are required. All participants are required to have soft spikes in their golf shoes.

Fall President's Leadership Forum
Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin will present, “Team of Rivals: The Leadership Lessons from Abraham Lincoln,” at Whitworth University’s fall President’s Leadership Forum. The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 a.m. at the Spokane Convention Center. Breakfast is included.
