Thursday, Oct. 6
  • 11 a.m. Midweek Worship, Seeley Mudd Chapel
    Join the campus in worship at this bi-weekly gathering of students and staff. All are invited.
  • 7:30 p.m. Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient Lecture: Primal de Lanerolle, '68, Eric Johnson Science Center Auditorium.
Friday,
Oct. 7
  • 6 p.m. Career seminar, "Strategy & Faith: Partners for your Job Interview," facilitated by veteran career consultant, executive coach and Whitworth alumnus Packard (Scott) Brown, '68, Weyerhaeuser Hall Room 111. Register here.
Saturday, Oct. 8
  • 8:30 a.m. Heritage Gallery Hall of Fame Breakfast,
    Location: TBD

Join us as we celebrate with some of the best athletes in Whitworth's history and add four individuals to the Heritage Gallery, sponsored by the Crimson Club. Hear from those being honored as well as from those who competed alongside them. For reservations, contact Susan Meyer in the kinesiology/athletics office at 509.777.3224 or susanmeyer@whitworth.edu. Cost is $10 per person.

  • 9 a.m. Ultimate Frisbee in The Loop

    All alumni are welcome to play. Student teams and alumni teams will square off in this third annual game, sure to become a Homecoming Weekend tradition. Bring your Frisbee, and show up for a round-robin game. Or come support your classmates.

  • 9:45 a.m. Alumni vs. Men's Tennis Team matchups. Game begins at 10 a.m.
  • 10 a.m. Campus Tour Leaves from Lied Square in the HUB

    It's likely that there have been quite a few changes since you were last here. See Weyerhaeuser Hall, Duvall Hall, Lied Center for the Visual Arts, East Hall, and the progress being made on the Robinson Science Hall, Whitworth's future biology/chemistry building.

  • 10 a.m. Bookstore and Of Mind & Hearth Coffee House open in HUB

  • 10 a.m. Crimson & Black Alumni Swim Meet, Aquatics Center

  • 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Art Exhibit in Oliver Gallery

    Join fellow alumni and Whitworth art faculty at the Lied Center for the Visual Arts. Bruce Herman, Lothl’orien Distinguished chair in the Fine Arts at Gordon College, will exhibit his work in the Bryan Oliver Gallery. Herman has created a series of large art pieces which are both figurative and abstract. His art deals with religious issues directly and in an academically respectable manner. 

  • 11 a.m. - Grand Opening, Robinson Hall

Join the entire Whitworth community for the grand opening ceremony of the William P. and Bonnie V. Robinson Science Hall, followed by your opportunity to tour this state-of-the-art biology and chemistry teaching and research facility.

  • 11:45 a.m. Whitworth Family Picnic

    Party in The Loop, in front of the HUB; enjoy a picnic barbecue lunch and live music. This family-fun event is only $8 per person and leads right up to the big game. Please pay cash at the event. (In case of rain this event will be held inside the HUB.)

  • 1 p.m. Football - Pine Bowl

    Free admission for alumni and families as the Pirates take on the Pacific Lutheran University Lutes. The alumni tent will be open throughout the game serving complimentary lemonade, coffee and those legendary "SAGA brownies" (hurry, as they will go fast.) Kids can enjoy a bouncy castle while parents reconnect and enjoy an afternoon of action at one of the most beautiful stadiums in the Northwest.

  • 4-10 p.m. Kid's College and Childcare

    Saturday's Kid's College is an evening of higher-ed experience for children ages 5 to 12. Join Whitworth alumni who are local full-time teachers, along with a staff of current Whitworth students, for an educational adventure that goes far beyond traditional childcare. The entire Whitworth campus will be your child's classroom for the evening – from the library computer labs to The Loop, from the Whitworth Fieldhouse to the front lawn of Boppell Hall. Kid's College begins after the football game and concludes after the reunion desserts. Childcare is available for children 4 and under.

  • 5 p.m. Reunion Punch Bowl and Group Photo, HUB

    All alumni are invited to join us for a punch bowl in the HUB. Join with other alumni from your era prior to the alumni banquet. Please arrive by 5 p.m. in order to get groups shots of the following:

    Five-year Reunion, Class of 2006
    10-year Reunion, Class of 2001
    20-year Reunion, Class of 1991
    Swimming Reunion
    Chemistry and Biology Reunion

  • 6:15 p.m. Alumni Banquet for all Homecoming attendees
    Location: HUB Main Dining Room

  • 7:45 p.m. Dessert Receptions by Group

    Desserts will be served at various locations around campus for each of the groups. Alumni and guests not associated with any particular reunion group are invited to stay for dessert in the HUB Coffee Shop.

    Five-year Reunion Dessert for the Class of 2006

    Twenty-year Reunion Dessert for Class of 1991

    Chemistry and Biology Reunion Dessert
    Other Alumni and guests Dessert, HUB Coffee Shop

    These dessert gatherings will provide wonderful opportunities to reconnect with old friends and share stories about the past decade(s) and your time together among the pines. Jacket and tie optional. $27 per person. Childcare is available in the HUB for out-of-town alumni until 10 p.m. Cost is $20 per child and must be paid in advance.

Sunday, Oct. 9
  • 10 a.m. Alumni Worship Service, Chapel

    Join university staff, music leaders, and fellow alumni in a meaningful worship experience that will bring our weekend to a close.

  • 11 a.m. Farewell Brunch, HUB

    Go through the line at any time between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to dine before you head home. This will be a busy time, so plan in advance to meet friends if you want to connect over this final meal. Cost is $8 at the door.
