BLUE RIVER, Ore. - Whitworth stands in seventh place after the first day of competition at the 2009 Northwest Conference men's golf tournament on Saturday at Tokatee Golf Course. Click here for the NWC Tournament website. Jacob McCallum led the Pirates on Saturday with a round of 80 (+8). Jeff Aly (82), Ryan Young (83) and James Dykes (86) added the other three scores to account for the Whitworth team score of 331. The Pirates are four shots behind Willamette.
