Q: At what age did you start playing soccer?
A: I started playing soccer around the age of nine, I think....whatever age you are in 3rd grade. I started because my best friend at the time was doing it and I wanted to be cool like her :)

Q: What was your high school athletic experience like?
A: My athletic experience in high school was amazing. I played soccer and ran track and was always busy! Between the athletes I competed with, the coaches, and the overall atmosphere, I loved being a part of the team. Through high school athletics I was able to learn so much that I was able to bring with me and use here at Whitworth.

Q: Why did you decide to play for Whitworth?
A: I decided to play for Whitworth because it was close to home and I had always heard great things about their athletic program. When deciding where to go, I wanted to run track and play soccer so I knew a smaller school may be my best chance. My freshman year here I did both and would have continued if not for an injury my sophomore soccer season. I also decided on Whitworth because my high school coach my senior year was Jen Tissue, a former Whitworth soccer star and alum.

Q: What is one of your most memorable experiences at Whitworth ?
A: One of my most memorable experiences is when we made it to playoffs/postseason last year in soccer. It was an amazing accomplishment for all of us and I will never forget how hard and fun it was to play with those girls and have an amazing 18-3 record!

Q: What class at Whitworth have you enjoyed the most? Why?
A: The class I enjoyed the most at Whitworth was either Race and Ethnicity or Juvenile Delinquency. My major is sociology and I love the criminal justice aspect so these classes fit right into what I enjoy. Also, both of the professors did a great job in teaching the material and keeping it interesting and relevant. Those two classes taught me so much about people and how to be more aware with the way I treat or relate to different people.

Q: What is/was your favorite meal in Saga? Why?
A: I really don't eat in Saga much since I live off campus. But during training camp when we are in there.....I'm not sure there is one.....I just loved having options and FREE food!

Q: Where did you live freshman year?
A: My freshman year I lived in Warren. I loved it there! I had a great roommate and met some great people who I am still friends with today.

Q: What do you see yourself doing in 20 years?
A: In 20 years I would love to have a job that I enjoy. As of right now that job would be somewhere in the field of criminal justice. I would also love to still be involved in the soccer world, either coaching or playing for fun.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?
A: If I won the lottery I would put the money away until I could figure out what to do with it reasonably. I figure if I made it without the money for this long then I don't need to go spend it all right away. But when I begin to plan what to do I'm sure a large part would go to charity, a large part would of course go to my family, and some would go to schools in this area. Otherwise I’m not sure what I would do with the rest......probable travel since I have been in Spokane my whole life!
