The Pirates are represented in the meet by two men and two women. Rory Buck (Fr., Dubai, U.A.E.) and Michael Woodward (So., Springfield, Ore.) are making their first appearances in the championship. Ashley Lecoq (So., Renton, Wash.) is in the meet for the second time, while Natalie Turner (Jr., South Lake Tahoe, Calif.) is competing for the third time and is a multiple NCAA Division III All-American.

The daily schedule for Whitworth's swimmers is as follows:

Wednesday (March 18)
Turner - 500-yard freestyle
Woodward - 500-yard freestyle
Lecoq - 50-yard freestyle
Buck - 50-yard freestyle

Thursday (March 19)
Lecoq - 100-yard butterfly
Turner - 200-yard freestyle
Woodward - 200-yard freestyle

Friday (March 20)
Lecoq - 200-yard butterfly
Buck - 100-yard breaststroke

Saturday (March 21)
Woodward - 100-yard freestyle
Buck - 200-yard breaststroke
Turner - 1,650-yard freestyle

The 2009 NCAA meet, the first in which the men and women will compete together, is being hosted by Macalester College at the Univ. of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
