Life Groups

Life Groups at Whitworth give students a chance to be in a small group lead by faculty and/or staff to talk about life and Christian faith. Our hope is when you get involved with a group, you’ll find mentorship, community, and growth in your relationship with God as you share life, pray together and engage with Scripture.

Life Groups meet weekly for about an hour for eight weeks. They start up at the beginning of every semester and finish about month before the semester ends. Students can choose any group that has the time, leader and location that work best for their schedule. Sign up on your own for the chance to meet new people, or sign up with a few of your friends to grow deeper in your faith together.

Students sit on campus and talk in a group.

Experience Life Together

Here are a few student testimonies to what Life Groups meant to them:

  • "I loved my Life Group and it was a great place to go for support and time to talk about Jesus."
  • "I loved my prof. She made everyone feel like a family and challenged us in our faith with the passion and care that a parent has for her children."
  • "I would definitely participate again if I wasn't graduating, but I will recommend it to friends!"
  • "I loved this opportunity! My Life Group is considering continuing our group because we all found it very positive."
