Averages*: 3.0 GPA | 1080 SAT | 22 ACT
*The GPA and test score criteria listed above are averages for the recipients of each scholarship. Admitted students are automatically awarded the highest academic scholarship they are eligible to receive based on their combination of weighted GPA and SAT or ACT super score. For students who choose to do an admissions interview rather than submit test scores, academic scholarships will be based on weighted GPA alone. And for students enrolled in a non-accredited home-school program, academic scholarships will be based on SAT or ACT super score alone. Students may submit updated transcripts or test scores through April 1 to be considered for scholarship upgrades.
For Home-Schooled Students
Whitworth will consider the GPA from accredited home-schooled programs and/or scores on the SAT or ACT. For students home-schooled in programs that are not accredited, Whitworth awards these scholarships based solely on the SAT or ACT score.
National Merit Semifinalists
National Merit semifinalists who advance to finalist standing and enroll at Whitworth University are eligible to receive the $2,000 Academic Achievement Scholarship, which is renewable for up to four years. Please contact the Whitworth Financial Aid Office if you qualify for this scholarship.
Whitworth University Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships for Running Start Students
To be eligible for a $1,500 PTK scholarship, a student must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa, newly admitted to Whitworth University, planning to enroll full time for the next academic year, and pursuing a first bachelor’s degree.
