Boppell Hall
Boppell Hall, one of the premiere halls in the Whitworth University housing program, opened its doors in October 2001. The residence hall is named for Chuck Boppell '65, longtime chair of Whitworth's board of trustees, and his wife, Karlyn '67. The Boppells contributed $2 million to the construction of the residence hall.
Designed to meet the needs of its 84 junior and senior residents, Boppell Hall has amenities that are unique from any other residence hall on campus. Each suite offers its four residents a bathroom, large storage room, common area with living room furniture, kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave, and two bedrooms with bay windows.
The main entrance leads into a welcoming lounge area that features a fireplace, skylight, big-screen television, and game room with ping pong and foosball. Boppell offers its residents an increased level of independence as well as opportunities to be part of a larger community.
