Most influential class or professor and why: Great Themes in Paul's Letters, with Haley Goranson. Haley walked us through Genesis and the covenants the Lord made with His people so we could understand more fully why Paul wrote these letters and the contexts of the cultures he wrote them to. She connected so many different aspects of my faith that I didn't even realize were connected. She has also become a wonderful friend and mentor.

What Whitworth means to me: Growth. I have grown in every area of my life, grown to appreciate more fully the people placed in my life, and grown to love the academic, spiritual and social challenges that Whitworth presents.

My favorite experience as a Whitworthian (so far): One of my favorite experiences to date was watching Pirate Idol in Sodexo. I love music already, but to see my friends performing and my fellow Bucs cheering them all on was encouraging and inspiring at the same time.

What I hope to do after I graduate: I would love to be involved on a professional sports franchise working with their marketing team. However, I am still in the process of discovering exactly what I love about marketing and am excited for how the Lord will use this in His plan for me.

Why I'm excited to be a part of the Alumni Discovery Project this year: Because of the people I will connect with. I am not sure how many students in the country, let alone the world, get the privilege of connecting with past alumni and creating relationships. I am looking forward to keeping alumni connected with Whitworth and also to creating an avenue for myself to connect with some of these amazing past Whitworthians.
