Whitworth University Financial Aid Office
Whitworth University is widely regarded as one of the best higher-education values in the Western United States. A Whitworth degree is a great investment
for the student who seeks to prepare for a successful career and a life that
makes a difference in the world. We recognize that this investment is significant, and we are committed to partnering with families to keep a Whitworth education within reach.
Whitworth is ranked No. 2 among 118 regional universities in the West in U.S. News & World Report’s 2012 ranking of best values. Whitworth also is
No. 62 on Kiplinger’s ranking of the top 100 private university values in
the U.S.; this is the fifth year in a row that Whitworth has made this selective national list. These rankings are based on both academic quality and the net
cost of attendance. Personal attention from excellent faculty, small class sizes, abundant opportunities for student involvement, and outstanding career and graduate-school placements underscore the fact that a Whitworth education
is a great investment in your future.
Whitworth's financial aid staff welcomes your questions and can provide explanations and counsel at any time. To be considered for all types of aid at Whitworth University, students should adhere to the following FAFSA priority deadlines:
- Incoming freshmen: March 1
- Incoming transfer students: July 1
- Continuing Whitworth students: May 1
Whitworth University is committed to delivering a mission-driven educational program that cultivates in students the capacity to engage effectively across myriad dimensions of diversity; the university therefore complies, in its admission and financial aid policies, with all federal, state and local non-discrimination laws that are applicable to religious nonprofits and does not engage in unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or disability.
