Designated Gift Priorities: Visual Arts Building
This two-story, 20,000-square-foot building will house six studios and an impressive new gallery space. The $7.1 million facility is designed to allow long-term expansion and will serve Whitworth students for decades to come. It will take advantage of consistent north-facing light for its studios and has an ample yard area off the first floor for ceramics kilns and delivery access to mixed media and sculpture studios. A state-of-the-art design lab will feature Apple computers, and faculty members' offices will be large enough to double as studios for these practicing artists.
