Speakers and Artists Lecture "Mother Theresa's Business Card: Spiritual Values in a Commercial World" by Fr. Brian Kolodiejchuk.

Date:
Tuesday, April 2, 2019

Time:
7:00 p.m.

Description:
Father Brian Kolodiejchuk, author of Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light (The Private Writings of The Saint of Calcutta) and Jesus is My All in All: Praying with the "Saint of Calcutta," among other works, will present a lecture entitled "Mother Theresa's Business Card: Spiritual Values in a Commercial World" on Tuesday, April 2 at 7 pm in Whitworth’s Robinson Teaching Theater (Weyerhaeuser Hall). Little was known about the interior faith of Mother Teresa until Father Brian made the decision to publish her private reflections, which testify to doubt and despair as well as to hope and charity. While painting a human portrait of Mother Teresa, Father Brian will draw out the contrast between Mother Teresa’s lifestyle and our current temptations to selfishness and consumerism.
This free lecture is sponsored by Whitworth's Speakers and Artists series and is open to the generic public.
