Group Fitness Classes

Dance Aerobics

Come join us for some high-energy dance fitness at dance aerobics. All skills and abilities are welcome. There is no cost to attend, so bring your friends and come dance the night away.

When: 7-8 p.m. Tuesdays

Total Body Circuit Training

A fitness class geared toward muscle toning, improving cardiovascular fitness and muscle endurance. These workouts are focused on performing exercises in coached circuits, based on either time or repetitions. Come prepared to sweat.

When: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturdays and 4-5 p.m. Sundays

Water Aerobics

This one-hour class is fun, challenging and set to music. On average, a participant will burn around 400-700 calories per class. Furthermore, by attending water aerobics, participants will be improving their muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. And the best part about it is all of this is done without putting pressure on your joints!

When: 8-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays

The pilates class is intended to push participants in developing strength, flexibility and balance with nothing but gravity and a mat. Each movement will have beginner and advanced modifications for every level of particpant and optional challenges. 

When: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sundays

Body-Weight Training

You, yourself, and iron, along with effective usage of gym equipment to reach your fitness goals. Sessions are 30 minutes.

When: 8-8:30 p.m. and 8:30-9 p.m. Mondays and 6:15-7 a.m. Tuesdays

Strength Training

Muscle toning through whole-body strengthening. Core strengthening will be emphasized. Sessions are 30 minutes.

When: 5-5:30 p.m. and 5:30-6 p.m. Wednesdays

U-Rec Orientation & Fitness Coaching

The short sessions will provide equipment instruction and fitness programming in a small group atmosphere. There is an option to meet with Sibuso for one-on-one or small group fitness coaching. Sessions are 30 minutes. Participants must register at the U-Rec Member Services Desk or via the U-Rec online portal.

When: 3-4 p.m. Fridays and Sundays (30-minute intervals)
