Favorite Thing About Whitworth: The community. Every faculty and staff member works hard to ensure students feel welcomed, supported and valued.

Advice for Whitworth Applicants: Do your homework, tour several schools, speak with current students, staff and faculty to get a real feel for that school. Just because something looks good on paper doesn't mean it's right for you.

Free-for-All: I am an Air Force veteran and spent a year in Korea. I've been married since 2003 and have two daughters. One is a competitive figure skater and the other rides horses. Most weekends from April until October you will likely find me at our spot on the Pend Oreille River. I love playing any type of board, card or outdoor lawn game. I enjoy skiing in the winter and playing golf in the summer. I recently got into summiting mountains. So far I've climbed Mount Adams and Mount St. Helens with the hopes of getting to the top of many more Cascade Mountains while my knees still work.
