Tim Caldwell

Tim Caldwell is the associate dean for student life; community standards and compliance at Whitworth University. Caldwell received his master's degree in student affairs administration and higher education from Ball State University, and before that, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Huntington University in Indiana.
 
While working in student affairs for over 15 years, Caldwell has developed three core beliefs that shape and guide his work as a student affairs practitioner.

  1. He believes that education has the ability to absolutely change a person and all those that they interact with for the better.  
  2. He believes that the co-curricular education is vital to holistic student development. 
  3. He believes that growth happens in and amongst hard things and as a result, the hard is not to be avoided but embraced as a way to reach one's fullest potential.

  • FEMA ICS-100 for Higher Education certificate of completion
