Giving. Growing. Worth it!

Amazing things happen when our community gives together. Join us for One Pine Day, Feb. 18-19, when the Whitworth community near and far rallies together to support students.

You can choose from 21 projects that help students grow in mind and heart and become the servant-leaders our world needs. Generous donors have also provided challenge funds to inspire friendly competition – each challenge met brings even more support for students.

Watch your inbox to learn how to join the fun and be a part of something big!

Last year, 684 Whitworthians launched incredible impact during One Pine Day. Here are just a few ways students benefited from our community's generosity:

  • Competing nationally: Women’s golf and men’s soccer teams traveled to elite tournaments, competing against Division II opponents and earning top-10 national rankings.
  • Discovering purpose: 23 adult students attended the Wildest Dreams retreat and clarified their purpose, calling and goals.
  • Removing barriers: 100 student-teachers built professional networks and received fieldwork and interview clothes and gas cards.
  • Serving communities: Students served locally and globally through summer ministry fellowships and health science graduate clinical rotations – from rural Alaska to Rwanda.
  • Building belonging: First-year students built confidence and community through WhitWilderness trips, and faculty and staff connected with students through Dine with a Mind.
