Our supportive faculty, drawn from the nation's finest conservatories and universities, provides each student with a meaningful and enriching arts education. Through theoretical and practical study of the discipline, Whitworth's music education major develops in students a strong foundation in music theory, ear training, music history, conducting, and choral and instrumental techniques, as well as technical skill in both individual and ensemble performance. The university is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
