Art & Design Scholarships
Each spring, Whitworth University awards art & design talent scholarships to entering first-year and transfer students who demonstrate interest and potential to excel as art & design majors at Whitworth, as well in as collaborative majors in front-end design development and art history. These scholarships are also available to returning students.
The Lied Center for the Visual Arts features large studios for glass, sculpture and ceramics, drawing, painting, and printmaking, as well as a Mac lab for graphic design. The facility also features a student gallery and a beautiful main gallery for touring exhibits and shows by regional and national artists.
Professionally active faculty members, whose works have won awards at exhibits and juried competitions nationwide, encourage students to immerse themselves intellectually and spiritually in the creative process.
If you have an interest in art & design, we hope you'll apply.
