Dana Parkin '20

Dana Parkin decided on Whitworth because it was close to home, affordable, convenient for her schedule, and offered the small class sizes that would allow her to get to know classmates and professors. Applied behavior analysis combined her interests in science and psychology with her passion for working with people with developmental disabilities.

When asked why prospective students should consider Whitworth's M.A. in ABA, Parkin says, "The professors here are very supportive and approachable, the education is high quality, and the community on campus is welcoming. My advice to you is to read about the program offerings on the website, come visit our beautiful campus to get an idea of where you will be studying, and definitely reach out to the program to ask any questions you may have as the faculty would be happy to help you out!"
