Stu Stiles oversees 601West, a unique advisory organization within the firm that provides IP strategy and valuation services to clients worldwide. Prior to joining Lee & Hayes, Stiles served as the CEO of IP Street, Inc., a "big data" SaaS-based intellectual property analytics company that provided the portfolio strength foundation to assessing and valuing IP. Prior to IP Street, Stiles was the president and CEO of Ecova. He’s held senior management positions in several other companies over the past 25 years. In addition to his role at Lee & Hayes, Stiles is the board chair for International Assistance Program (www.iassist.org), an organization that focuses on business projects worldwide designed to fund projects that serve people in impoverished countries.

Stu's Tips for Success:

  • In your first job, be more concerned about the company than about the job.
  • Prepare, prepare, prepare. You have to put in the work. There is no substitute for hard work.
  • Don’t be afraid to change to another industry to keep learning.
  • It is healthy and humbling to get out of your comfort zone and do something different.
