As part of the human resources team, payroll is here to support you by making sure your pay is accurate, timely and easy to understand. We partner with departments across campus to manage timekeeping and pay processes. This site provides key information, schedules and updates.
Beginning May 30 – Moving to a Biweekly Pay Period
Whitworth is transitioning to a biweekly payroll schedule for non-exempt (hourly) employees. This will create a more consistent and reliable pay experience for non-exmpt (hourly) employees. Under this model, pay will be issued every two weeks and will more closely align with actual hours worked, resulting in more predictable paychecks. This change also allows timecard deadlines to occur during regular business days and provides additional time for payroll review and processing.
Exempt employees will still be paid on the last business day each month.
