Clergy & Lay Leadership:

Pastors' Reading Groups

The Weyerhaeuser Center for Christian Faith & Learning at Whitworth University invites you to participate in our next pastors' reading group.
The purpose of this group is to help pastors and interested laypersons explore vocation and ministry through reading and discussing books related to these themes. Our hope is that this group will provide intellectual stimulation, personal enrichment and warm
fellowship as we engage in a significant conversation regarding the nature and purpose of the church in the 21st century.

We will be reading Why Did Jesus, Moses, the Buddha and Mohammed Cross the Road? Christian Identity in a Multi-Faith World,
by Brian D. McLaren
An editorial review may be found here.

Time: 7-8:30 a.m.
Place: Whitworth University, HUB Chambers
Dates: Feb. 6, March 6, April 3, May 1.
Cost: There is no charge. A continental breakfast will be served. Please bring your own copy of the book.
