Military & Veterans
We deeply value the service and sacrifice of veterans and their families. Recognized as a Military Friendly® School for 2023-24 by Viqtory Media and ranked No. 2 in the West for Veterans by the 2023 U.S. News & World Report, Whitworth University continues to be a strong support for veterans and their dependents.
Whitworth application fees for all continuing studies programs, master’s programs, endorsements and certificates are waived for military and veterans.
Military & Veterans Resource Center (MAVRC)
Whitworth's 3,000-square-foot Military & Veterans Resource Center (MAVRC) is dedicated for use by our military-connected students. If you are currently serving in the military, have served, are actively in ROTC, or your parent or spouse served in the military, the MAVRC is the place for you. The MAVRC includes its own computer lab, group study/meeting place, community space, kitchen, patio, and a rest and relaxation space for those who may be struggling with PTS or traumatic brain injuries, or who just need a quiet place to decompress. The plan is to continue to transform the MAVRC in the coming months and years by adding more resources for students, remodeling the facilities to make the building ADA compliant, and more.
