The Academic Evaluator & VA Certifying Official will be responsible for the proper evaluation of matriculated day (MD) programs. Alongside the Assistant Registrar, they will serve as the school certifying official for the MD population and will provide general reporting and records maintenance for all VA students. Assistant Technical Director

Responsible for facilitating the use of multimedia equipment including video/audio equipment; identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving related technology problems; assisting students, faculty, and staff in the use of video/audio equipment at campus events. Will build and rig scenery and temporary staging using woodworking tools and knowledge of fabrication types and processes of scenic construction and rigging systems. Reading blueprints and making any shop modifications needed to produce scenic elements. Should know how to calculate materials needed for a project as well as how to execute the projects presented. Should be able to complete assigned tasks with a group of students or alone depending on what is required for the project. Provides daily oversight for proposal submission and management for awards from state, federal, corporate, and private sponsors. From project development to finding funding and award management through closeout, the Manager guides and administers awards in accordance with federal and state/local regulations and laws, and institutional policies and best practices. By collaborating with faculty and staff including Institutional Advancement, the Manager facilitates communication within the university about awards, including research administration policies and procedures, and maintains internal controls to ensure compliance.
