Smooth Sailing for Whitworth University Transfers

We are committed to making the process of transferring to Whitworth as smooth as possible. Pirate Pathways is for domestic students interested in transferring into the traditional undergraduate day program. We offer the following benefits to prospective transfer students who sign up for Pirate Pathways:Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Transfer Honor Roll Logo

  • Quarterly meetings with our Whitworth transfer advisor
  • Guaranteed admission for applicants with 3.0-plus cumulative GPA who meet all other admission requirements
  • Pirate Pathways scholarship of $1,500 per year by meeting requirements
  • Guaranteed renewable academic scholarship from $17,000-$30,000
  • Transfer-credit evaluation upon request
  • Personalized campus visits, including appointments with faculty in your intended major

Pirate Pathways is for domestic high school graduates who plan to or are currently enrolled at a community college in Washington state or at North Idaho College. High school students enrolled in Running Start should contact their Whitworth first-year admissions counselor at 509.777.4786

REGISTER for Pirate PathwayS

Registration and advising for Pirate Pathways should be based on your expected entry term to Whitworth to qualify:

Spring Term 2024

  • Register by Aug. 15, 2023
  • Complete an advising appointment by Sept. 15, 2023

Fall Term 2024

  • Register by Feb. 15, 2024
  • Complete an advising appointment by March 1, 2024

Spring Term 2025

  • Register by Aug. 15, 2024
  • Complete an advising appointment by Sept. 15, 2024
