Important Dates & Timelines: Internships

Academic internships follow the registrar's academic calendars & schedules. All dates are subject to change.

Undergraduate Programs

Spring Term 2026

Nov. 3, 2025: Pre-registration opens.
Jan. 29, 2026: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement must begin on or after this date.
Feb. 11, 2026, 3 p.m.: Deadline to register an internship/field study for academic credit. Internship registration forms will not be accepted in any form after this deadline.
May 15, 2026: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement and final requirements must be completed on or before this date.

Summer Term 2026

Nov. 3, 2025: Pre-registration opens.
May 18, 2026: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement must begin on or after this date.
June 1, 2026, 3 p.m.: Deadline to register an internship/field study for academic credit. Internship registration forms will not be accepted in any form after this deadline.
Aug. 7, 2026: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement and final requirements must be completed on or before this date.

Fall Term 2026

April 3: Pre-registration opens.
Sept. 9: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement must begin on or after this date.
Sept. 22, 3 p.m.: Deadline to register an internship/field study for academic credit. Internship registration forms will not be accepted in any form after this deadline.
Dec. 18: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement and final requirements must be completed on or before this date.

Jan Term 2027

Nov. 9, 2026: Pre-registration opens.
Jan. 6, 2027: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement must begin on or after this date.
Jan. 7, 2027, 3 p.m.: Deadline to register an internship/field study for academic credit. Internship registration forms will not be accepted in any form after this deadline.
Jan. 27, 2027: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement and final requirements must be completed on or before this date.

Spring Term 2026

Dec. 18: Internship hours to be counted toward the credit-hour requirement and final requirements must be completed on or before this date.
