The best way to shape your network is to start with your connections. Think of your friends, faculty, family and Whitworth's amazing alumni as a starting point and reach out. Internship Fairs

Connect with employers by attending the various internship and career fairs offered throughout the year.

  • Fall Job and Internship Fair: More than 30 employers from all industries with part-time, full-time and work-study job and internship opportunities will be in attendance to talk about their positions available during the 2020-21 academic year. All majors are encouraged to attend. Professional business attire is strongly recommended. Bring several copies of your résumé.
  • Camp and Internship Fair: Talk with summer camp representatives who have summer job and internship opportunities available at camps nationwide.
  • Summer Job and Internship Fair: More than 30 employers from all industries with part-time, full-time and work-study job and internship opportunities will be in attendance to talk about their positions available during the summer. All majors are encouraged to attend. Professional business attire is strongly recommended. Bring several copies of your résumé.

Career Fair

  • The FUSE Career Fair is a long-running partnership between Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga University, Washington State University Health Sciences Spokane and Whitworth University. Students and alumni are invited to attend the FUSE Career Fair in Spokane free of charge. More than 100 companies from around the region attend this fair to offer a diverse range of internships and full-time professional jobs.
  • Whitworth Center for Career & Professional Development Events: Attend a career services networking event to meet alumni and employers looking to mentor, give offers and hire Whitworth students.

Networking Events

  • Mock Interviews: Employers interview students in a speed learning format.
  • Slice of Advice: Employers share their career advice while students enjoy a slice of pizza.
  • Ace (Active Career Exploration) Events: In a reception-type setting, students and employers mingle for career exploration and connections.
