Whitworth University continues to keep the health and safety of our students and employees as our highest priority as we look toward Spring Term.

We all have a responsibility to protect ourselves and others to limit the spread of COVID-19. Whitworth will continue to employ our academic delivery through the WhitworthFlex model, giving students the flexibility to utilize in-person and remote instruction according to their needs. Please continue to visit this webpage for new or updated procedures and policies.

  • Whitworth introduces a new COVID-19 entry testing program for undergraduate students upon return to campus. Students returning to live in residence halls for Jan Term and/or Spring Term are required to take part in the program.
  • The Back to School Guide for Jan and Spring Terms 2021 is now available. Students are asked to self-quarantine for seven days ahead of arrival and use the daily health check app before coming to campus.
  • Whitworth shares FAQs with students and their parents about plans for the rest of the school year: Students | Parents.

COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Feeling Sick? Possible Exposure? Take these Steps

    1. Stay home from work and school. If you are having a life-threatening medical emergency, call 911 and go to the nearest hospital.
    2. Call your health care provider, a nurse triage hotline on the back of your health insurance card, or the health center for eligible students.
    3. The health care provider, nurse or health center staff will ask you screening questions to determine best next steps in regards to the following:
      1. If you need to have a medical evaluation
      2. If you need to be tested for COVID-19
      3. If you need to quarantine or isolate for a specific length of time
    4. For notification purposes, if you have been exposed to COVID-19, have COVID-19 symptoms, are undergoing testing for COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19, please let the university know by submitting a "Report a COVID Concern" through the LiveSafe app or by sending an email to the COVID Care Team covidcareteam@whitworth.edu.
