WhitworthFLEX: Our Campus's Coronavirus Response

Latest Updates

Whitworth University will resume campus operations, including academic instruction, on-campus housing, dining and student services, for Fall Term 2020.

Our community's health and safety are chief among our priorities. We all have a responsibility to protect ourselves and others to limit the spread of COVID-19. As we prepare for in-person classes this fall and closely monitor the state's requirements for safe reopening, please continue to visit this webpage for new procedures and policies.

  • Whitworth prepares for students' return to campus. Information and expectations for students can be found in President Beck A. Taylor's message to the community.
  • Although Spokane County remains in Phase 2, Gov. Jay Inslee has issued a proclamation allowing college campuses to resume in-person classes starting Aug. 1. Whitworth will begin classes as regularly scheduled.
