Description:
The Emmaus Scholars Program along with Speakers and Artists is excited to welcome Rev. Dr. Esau McCaulley as the inaugural speaker in the annual Emmaus Scholars Lecture series. Besides being a world-class New Testament scholar and Anglican priest, Dr. McCaulley speaks powerfully on issues relating to race, social justice, and Christian faith. His writings in the New York Times, Washington Post, and Christianity Today have established Dr. McCaulley as a prominent public intellectual. His recent book, *Reading While Black*, explores the intersection of race, Christian faith, and biblical interpretation.
