Research & Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP: Hill, C. & Taylor, J. (2008). Usability Testing: Opposing Viewpoints in Context. The purpose of this test was to observe undergraduates using the navigation tools provided in the Opposing Viewpoints in Context database or finding a work-around if the tools are not available or readily apparent. The researchers collected information on how users integrated navigation tools vs. search bar functions of the information system, whether users were able to locate database tools within menus or identify popup tools.
