Federal Pell Grant
  • Description:

    A federal grant for undergraduate students with financial need.

  • Eligibility:

    Financial need as determined by federal formula, for highest-need students.

  • Amount:

    $6095 maximum - 2018-19 academic year

  • More Information:

    The amount of Federal Pell Grant funds a student may receive over his/her lifetime is limited by a new federal law to be the equivalent of 6 years of Pell Grant funding. Once a student reaches this limit, he/she will no longer be eligible to receive Pell Grant funds. Students can view their lifetime eligibility on the NSLDS website at .

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
  • Description:

    A grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need.

  • Eligibility:

    To get an FSEOG, you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) so the financial aid office can determine how much financial need you have.  Students who will receive Federal Pell Grants and have the most financial need will receive FSEOGs first.  The FSEOG does not need to be repaid.
