Assistant Professor in Finance

SUMMARY OF POSITION: The School of Business at Whitworth University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Finance. PRIMARY TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES: The successful candidate will be an expert in applied finance who is excited about teaching and mentoring students. Possible courses include: corporate finance, real estate finance, derivatives, financial statement analysis, advanced financial statement analysis, and financial management. The Whitworth Student Investment Group (WSIG), which is open to all majors at the university, is one of the few student led investment clubs in the U.S. The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) team sponsored by WSIG has won the Regional CFA Research Challenge for the last seven years. The new assistant professor of finance will work closely with WSIG, the CFA team, and the faculty adviser of WSIG.  Job Description

Whitworth University’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program invites applications for multiple 12-month tenure-track and non-tenure-track residential faculty positions to join its founding Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. The Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program is preparing to submit a Candidacy Report to the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) in Fall 2021. The Doctor of Occupational Therapy program promotes innovative, creative, holistic interprofessional “mind and heart” education for developing and empowering ethically competent transformational-leaders in occupational therapy and healthcare.
