As a Whitworth Asian studies minor, you'll explore the political activity, social relations, religious traditions, philosophical schools and literatures of East Asian countries. The program's interdisciplinary approach enhances any course of study and prepares students to better understand the significant influence Asia has in the global marketplace of culture and economics. At the heart of this program is achieving competency in an Asian language.
Professor of History Anthony Clark specializes in late-imperial China and teaches courses such as History of Christianity in Asia and Cultural History of China & Japan.
