Favorite College Courses: Intro to the Bible, Core 250, Skiing

Favorite Spokane Activity: Just being out in Spokane and enjoying everything this city has to offer. Some of my favorites are; Farmers markets, concerts, sporting events, ice-skating downtown in the winter and Manito Park.

Favorite Spokane Restaurant: Lunas for a special night out. Poole's for meeting with family and friends.

Favorite Thing About Whitworth: The "Whitworth experience" that is hard to put into words and is best understood once you are on this beautiful and serene campus. The community and relationships between faculty, staff and students is unique and the education is transformative.

Advice for Whitworth Applicants:  Enjoy the process of discovering who are and what you want during the time in your life. Visit as many campuses as you can and don't be afraid to ask students on campus about their experience. Stay engaged in the application process and check in with staff and ask questions so you can determine what will be the best fit for you. Complete the FAFSA and pursue all financial aid, scholarship and grant options.

Free-for-All: When I was attending Whitworth in the 1990's, they held open auditions for the movie Benny & Joon (starring Johnny Depp) right here on campus! My friends and I auditioned, and I was cast as an extra. Unfortunately, it interfered with a vacation my family had already planned so I was not able to participate in the movie.
