Biography

Hometown: Sonora, Calif.

High School: Summerville Union High School

University: Whitworth University

Favorite Quote: "Friendship is the instrument by which God reveals to each of us the beauties of others." – C.S. Lewis

Favorite College Courses: Exercise Physiology, Health Psychology, Ceramics, Gospel of John and Pilates!

Favorite Spokane Activity: Going to the local coffee shops (ask me about my top five list)! I also love going on hikes at Riverside State Park, walking the Centennial Trial in Kendall Yards, or going to Manito Park. During the spring and summer Spokane has so many farmers markets to try, and in the winter, I love a good freezing cold hike in snowshoes!

Favorite Spokane Restaurant: Soulful Soups or Cochinito Taqueria in downtown Spokane are my go-tos. I also am always willing to go to Taste of Thai right by Whitworth for some pad thai and curry.

Favorite Thing About Whitworth: You always have someone to say hi to! It's a perfect-sized campus because you get to have your inner circle of friends, but there's also always someone new to meet.

Advice for Whitworth Applicants: Start your college search and applications early! It can feel overwhelming, but giving yourself a couple extra months to figure out finances and really investigate the schools you're interested in can go a long way.

Free-for-All: I was a paid actress and dancer for several Decembers for a live Polar Express performance that took place on a moving train. It was in my hometown and the train is famous for being in Back to the Future, High Noon, Petticoat Junction, and Little House on the Prairie! Other than that some really important things to know about me – I am a massive Scooby-Doo fan, black licorice is my favorite candy and I am double-jointed.
