Multicultural Visit Program Tentative Schedule for Students

Thursday, March 14
9-10 p.m. Early Check-in
Your host will meet you for your overnight stay.
Friday, March 15
8-8:45 a.m. Breakfast - HUB Dining Hall; meal pass provided for students who stayed overnight Thursday. 
Check-in and Registration – Please arrive early to pick your class visit slip and tour group assignment.
8:45-9:15 a.m. MVP Kickoff
9:15-10:20 a.m. Campus Tours
10:25-11:30 a.m. Junior Admissions Presentation with Assistant Director of Admissions Sean Tyson 

Seniors Class Visit

Please refer to the class visit slip you selected at check-in.
11:30 a.m.-noon Mentor Circle #1
Noon-1 p.m. Lunch Dining Hall
Noon-1 p.m. Student Life & Club Fair
1-1:45 p.m. Admitted Seniors, "What's Next" Presentation with Ayaka Dohi, assistant director of admissions 

Juniors Class Visit

Please note: Afternoon class availabilities are limited and not guaranteed. Visit the MVP info table for available class slips.
1–3 p.m. Optional Financial Aid 1-on-1 Appointments

Seniors who request a meeting at registration will be scheduled to meet with a financial aid counselor.
3-5 p.m. Downtown Trip/Mentor Circle #2
5:15-6 p.m. Student Panel
6 p.m. Dinner - Hawaiian Club Luau HUB Dining Hall (open from 5-7 p.m.)

Optional Evening Activities:
7-8:30 p.m. Luau Entertainment

Saturday, March 16

Meal pass provided in your packet upon check-in.


Please bring your luggage with you, as many of you will be departing right after closing remarks. You can store your luggage in the far left corner of Weyerhaeuser Hall, Room 111.
9-10 a.m. Presentation on Whitworth's Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion with David Garcia and Shawn Washington
10-11 a.m. Mentor Circles #3
11-11:20 a.m. Closing Remarks with Whitworth President Beck A. Taylor
11:30 a.m. Charter bus departs for Seattle/Tacoma
4:30 p.m. Tacoma/Seattle charter bus estimated arrival to Southcenter Mall – Drop-off north of Macy's and east of Bahama Breeze.
