Life Groups at Whitworth exist to provide students with intentional staff- or faculty-led small groups focused on mentor-student connection, peer faith community and growth in relationship with God.
All Life Groups are intended for undergraduate student participation and will meet weekly for about an hour. Participants select the group they wish to participate in based on the details of time and location that the leaders provide. Groups have eight students maximum and meet for eight weeks. The groups share life, pray together and engage in a simple Bible study or Scripture reflection (typically with little to no outside work). Groups are welcome to continue meeting after the commitment of eight weeks is completed. Feel free to sign up with friends!
Experience Life Together
Here are a few student testimonies to what Life Groups meant to them:
- "I loved my life group and it was a great place to go for support and time to talk about Jesus."
- "I loved my prof. She made everyone feel like a family and challenged us in our faith with the passion and care that a parent has for her children."
- "I would definitely participate again if I wasn't graduating, but I will recommend it to friends!"
- "I loved this opportunity! My life group is considering continuing our group because we all found it very positive."
