Caps, Gowns & Announcements

Traditional Daytime Students

Traditional daytime students are responsible for ordering their own cap and gown after completing their graduation application. Caps and gowns are free for traditional daytime undergraduate students as long as they are ordered by Friday, Nov. 2. If the cap and gown is not ordered by the student by Friday, Nov. 2, they will be responsible for the cost.

If a student is eligible for an honor cord, this will be included with the cap and gown.

Continuing Studies Students

Continuing studies students are responsible for purchasing their own cap and gown after completing their graduation application. Caps and gowns will be shipped to the student's home.

Graduate Students

Graduate students are responsible for purchasing their own cap, gown and hood after completing their graduation application. Caps, gowns and hoods will be shipped to the student's home. Graduate students should confirm the degree they will be receiving with their department before ordering their caps, gown and hood as hood color corresponds with the degree. Graduate students who enter the wrong degree when ordering their regalia will be responsible for getting the correct hood color from the regalia vendor.
