Friday, May 18
8 p.m.Communion and Commissioning Service <br /> Cowles Auditorium <br /> All seniors, parents, faculty, staff and guests invited. This worship service includes faculty and student reflections on shared experiences of Christian faith, as well as the opportunity to pray for the members of the Class of 2018. Communion will be served.
Saturday, May 19
8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.Theology Graduate Reception <br /> Seeley Mudd Chapel <br /> Reception for graduating theology majors and their family members to meet theology faculty. Light refreshments, brief program and awards, group photo of theology graduates and faculty members.
9 a.m. - 11 a.m.Chemistry Senior Reception <br /> Robinson Science Hall, 3rd floor <br /> Faculty hosted coffee/tea reception for chemistry graduates and their families.
9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.World Languages & Cultures Senior Breakfast <br /> HUB Crow's Nest <br /> The World Languages & Cultures Department will honor and celebrate their seniors with a breakfast in their honor. Free for graduating seniors. $10 per family member/guest. RSVP by May 4 to Ann Penfield at
11 a.m.Senior Art Exhibit Closing Reception <br /> Bryan Oliver Gallery, Lied Center for the Visual Arts <br /> Please join us for the closing reception of our Senior Art exhibition featuring an eclectic and engaging selection of works from our graduating art majors.

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.Engineering & Physics Lunch <br /> Robinson 105 <br /> Engineering & Physics graduating seniors and their families are invited to an informal (drop-in) lunch.
2 p.m.Senior Athletics Recognition Ceremony & Dessert <br /> Whitworth Fieldhouse <br /> Senior athletes, athletic trainers, cheerleaders, and families are invited to a ceremony recognizing senior contributions to the athletics program, announce senior awards, and meet and greet with coaches, staff and families.
3 p.m.Senior Commencement Recital <br /> Seeley Mudd Chapel <br /> Graduating music students perform a recital for family and friends. Reception following event will be in the Music Building – Main Street area.
8 p.m.Senior Reflections <br /> Cowles Auditorium <br /> Everyone is invited to enjoy a showcase of senior-class talent. Many of the university's awards for outstanding seniors will be presented here, along with the annual senior slide show, a Whitworth tradition. This event is free of charge.

8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.History Senior Breakfast <br/> Weyerhaeuser 111 <br> Seniors and their guests are invited to a faculty-hosted celebration, which will include a short program to remember the highlights of the year and honor the history department graduates.
8 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.Psychology Senior Breakfast Celebration <br /> HUB MPR <br /> Graduatues and their family and friends are invited to a celebration of psychology students and their accomplishments throughout their journey here at Whitworth. Each student is individually celebrated, including their specific and unique senior thesis project, scholarship accolades, and internship site experiences. Departmental awards are also announced at this event: Outstanding Major Award, Altruism Award, & Outstanding Senior Thesis Award.
8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.Health Sciences Senior Reception <br /> Seeley Mudd Chapel <br /> Faculty hosted coffee/tea reception with a short program to recognize and honor all the health sciences graduates.
10 a.m.Baccalaureate Service <br /> Whitworth Fieldhouse <br /> All seniors, parents, faculty, staff and guests invited. Baccalaureate service for the graduating class of 2018.
11 a.m.Philosophy Senior Brunch/Lunch <br /> TBA <br /> Seniors and their guests are invited to a celebration of Philopshy department graduates. Contact the Philosophy Department for additional details.
