Timeline & Delivery

Please allow a 48-hour turnaround for all print jobs.

Basic black-and-white jobs usually have a same-day turnaround; however, color jobs and projects involving cutting, bookleting and spiraling typically require a longer turnaround depending upon our workload and staffing.

Delivery to campus is available when requested on the CopyJob Request Form (make sure to include where you would like your copies delivered). Pickup is available during our operating hours.

Bulk Paper Ordering

Bulk Paper Order Form

Bulk paper orders are delivered for free on Wednesdays by facilities services. For delivery on other weekdays a nominal charge is assessed. Smaller paper orders can either be picked up at the print shop or included in the afternoon copy job deliveries.

The print shop also has logo notecards and thank you notecards, along with matching envelopes. These can be ordered using the Bulk Paper Order Form, in quantities from one to more than 500.

Toner & Copier Supplies

The print shop maintains the campus supply of copier toners and staples for the machines that are leased from H&H. There is no charge for toner and staples.

Toner Request Form

For HP printers not leased from H&H, toner can be ordered through Staples.

FAQs

What kind of file should I deliver to be printed?
The preferred file types are PDF and JPEG.

Why is there a blank border around my document?
The copiers can't print to the very edge of documents, so be sure to allow at least a quarter-inch blank border around the edges of the document.

I want to use the commercial cutter. Should I include cut lines?
No, please do not include cut lines or boxes around text. Our precisely calibrated commercial cutter will ensure the cuts are accurate.

My design is fairly small. Can you print more than one per page?
Yes, a file designed with smaller proportions can be “imposed" multiple times on a single sheet and then cut (using our commercial cutter) into smaller sizes. This is very useful for handouts.

Bulk Mailing

Whitworth University will discontinue in-house bulk mailing services effective May 2026. Departments needing bulk or large-volume mailings (e.g., postcards, newsletters, event promotions or fundraising communications) should work directly with external mailing vendors.

Many vendors provide full-service bulk mail solutions, including printing, addressing and USPS bulk mailing preparation.

Departments are responsible for coordinating directly with external vendors for bulk mailing services. A preferred vendor list can be found below.
